So, I have been keeping this amazing secret from you for the past two weeks and I cannot hold it in any longer. I cannot contain myself and I want your full attention on my wonderful news. So here goes, I’m on Jenny Craig and I am loving it. While weight hasn’t been a huge issue for me it is still one of concern as I get older and my metabolism has decided to take a back seat in my life. Well, I am answering that change with Jenny Craig. Over the last two years I have gained some unwanted pounds and while I live a healthy lifestyle for the most part, I tend to not control my portions. What I am saying is, you can eat healthy and still gain weight. I decided to get on Jenny Craig to kick start my year of being healthy, fit, and to maintain my desired weight. Come with me as I take you through the ease and beauty of this program.
Here’s a shot of my breakfast. I know, I’ having cereal, protein shake, and 1/2 fruit. Yup, I’m eating real food, the same foods I would eat on a regular but in controlled portion. Jenny Craig helps you to enjoy regular everyday meals, pre-packaged and calorie counted based on your weight, weight-loss goals, and general health related issues. I pretty much only had to provide my own fruits and salad. Their menu has more than 100 premium menu items to love in flavors you can’t resist and guess what? their menu was created by 40 professional chefs. Now, that give me confidence in what I am eating and it definitely tells in the yummy taste of the food items.
One of my favorite foods is the anytime bar and it is a great snack option and so filling.

I enjoyed this delicious Beef Pot Roast for dinner and just as simple and easy as that I had my meals for the day. I was highly surprised that every day I had a desert calculated and provided in my meals. The norm is that to stay away from desert, at least for me, but to see this portioned out and that I am able to enjoy desert everyday was very fulfilling.
Now loves, let me explain the process a bit more for you. I set up a call with a Jenny Craig Consultant, went into the office, I was weighed and asked about my health and weight loss goals. From there, my consultant put me on a daily calorie program. My consultant Emily is such a delight and she is so helpful and informative. We went over the type of foods I like from the impressive menu and we chose foods that I would enjoy. My meals were packed and sorted out for me, I packed them in my car, and went home. I also got a chart that showed each meal day by day, meal by meal. It was easy to follow. I just look at it in the mornings, see what I am having for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and pop them in the microwave and enjoy. I work full-time also and this has made my life so much easier. I have found more time to get blog work done as well as personal stuff. For members who don’t live near a center, Jenny Craig Anywhere offers one-on-one support through consultations over the phone or via video chat.
I’m just completing my second week. Each week I go in to my consultant and weigh in to track my progress and pick up my weekly foods. In my first week I lost 1.5 pounds by simple eating and following my chart.Please note Results not typical. Members following the Jenny Craig program, on average, lose 1-2 lbs. per week. I’ll be doing this for two months to get myself in line and build consistency and I will share with you guys my full weight loss and other things I think about this program.
