Goals To Change Your Life For 2022

This week, I sat down to talk about making 2022 a great year! I made 5 goals for myself, and shared how you can easily make these same resolutions for the new year!

I shared 5 ways to change your life in 2022. All of these are easy daily changes that will make a huge impact on your mental health this coming year. Prioritizing your mental health better prepares you for life’s challenges, and creates more of a positive perspective when pouring into others. Especially as a mom, it’s important to take time to restore your health so that you can truly meet the needs of those around you! All of these good feels will help you feel your best every day.

1.More Self-Care

Self-care is so important to me. It’s so easy to prioritize all of the work that happens on a daily basis, but taking the time to focus on YOU will create such a whole feeling. Self-care can range from skincare routines to taking an hour to do something I love. Whatever self-care means to you – put it at the top of your list. Physical, emotional, mental self-care all help better you to be the best versions of yourself.

2. More Days Off

I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely a workaholic. I easily work 7 days a week most weeks. Something I’ve learned about our culture is that we are taught to grind every second to make it to the top. While I will cotninue to grind hard this year, I want to try to grind smarter. I want to be able to show up for my husband, kid, friends – all of those people. So, taking some time off and turning off your work phone will create a better headspace for you to help be the best version of yourself for others!

3. Less Gossip

My goal for 2022 is to participate in less gossip. I truly think that only surrounding yourself with positive thoughts will better your spirit. If I notice gossip entering my space, I will keep the conversation short and sweet. I want to remove that from my day-to-day and replace it with positivity.

4. More Positive Social Media Consumption

This one! Social media is my job – so even though it is a beautiful space, it can quickly turn into negative experiences. Too much social media or the wrong accounts can quickly change your headspace. Finding accounts that are encouraging or give tips to take care of yourself are the best places to be. I strive to do that on my own Instagram for you all! Throughout the day, finding posts or videos that make me feel good definitely makes my day better.


5. Be More Intentional with My Time

By this, I mean making the most of my time. Every second of the day doesn’t need to be dedicated to working. So prioritizing my downtime to be positive interactions. Saying no to interactions that will have a negative impact on my mental health. I think this will change my life for the better!

I encourage you to try these daily practices to live your best life. I’m doing all of these to grow and evolve and truly become the best version of me.
