Thanksgiving is behind us – it’s now time for holiday and Christmas season! Here are my 5 top tips for a stress-free holiday season!
1.Shop Early
The stress of shopping in person only gets stronger closer to Christmas! I definitely like to make my list early to get everything ready and wrapped before Christmas is here!
2. Listen To Holiday Music
I love a great spotifty playlist with all the Christmas and holiday classics! Makes me feel all warm and joyful – and it just sets a great tone in your home!
3. Say NO to anything that will make me feel stressed
Don’t overcommit yourself this season! With the hustle and bustle of closing out the year, it can feel like you need to accomplish more than usual. But adding too much on your plate near the holidays can take the excitement out of the season. So don’t be afraid to say no!
4. Burn Holiday Candles while home, especially while taking bath or shower
My favorite way to wind down after a long day or soak in some me time during the weekend!
5. Give someone an unexpected gift (garbage collector, pedestrian cross walker, cashier at grocery store…)
The joy it brings in making others smile – it’s the reason for the season!
