Finding The Right Olay Moisturizer

I know many of us struggle to find the right moisturizer for our skincare needs so I've written this post as a start in helping you to identify the right moisturizer for YOU. I have friends who are anti-moisturizer and I always have to convince them when they cleanse their faces, exfoliating ingredients will remove some of the skin oils which often leads to over-dying. Everyone needs moisturizer, no matter the skin type. A daily surge of hydration is pertinent to good skin.

Now, Olay has a few moisturizers and I love and I trust their brand. However, I know not every single moisturizer is for me or for you, too. This is why I took the quiz to find out which one was best for me.  I decided to steadily use both the Olay Regenerist Whip and Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream to see which one was best for me. Based on my responses on the quiz and after use, it turned out, the Olay Micro-Sculpting Cream was the perfect one for me. Here's my breakdown of what I loved about both moisturizers.

Olay Micro-Sculpting Cream:

It kept my skin intensely moisturized throughout the day
My skin felt and looked firmer
I experienced long lasting hydration which I absolutely loved
It also comes in a fragrance-free option

Olay Regenerist Whip

As with all the Whip products, I love the barely there feel on my skin
It absorbs super quick so this is great for busy on-the-go individuals
I really love the matte finish on my skin
This also comes fragrance-free

My Cake Cutting & After Party Dress From Watters

Hi Guys,

I’m super excited to share with you all a few wedding related posts over the next two weeks. Today I want to share with you my cake-cutting and after party dress. This is the Geneva Dress from Watters. When I first spotted this dress I instantly fell in love with it. I loved the elegant silhouette and how beautiful it flowed. I tried it on and was very sure it was going to be one of my three dresses I wore on my big day. 

It was perfect and I felt like a true queen in it. Depending on your style, this dress can easily be a main wedding gown option, court house wedding option, a vow renewal option...it’s also perfect for a beach wedding. It’s endless and this is a dress I will definitely wear again. I love the versatility and I’m so happy I chose it.

Ready To Take On The Outdoors With Olay Sun SPF

It's no secret how much I love Olay and their amazing products. Every season I look to them for my miracle product to combat the change in weather and, my overall skin care needs. How To Incorporate Mixed-Metals In Your Kitchen

I've been told multiple times that I was brave to mix so many different metals in my kitchen during the remodeling process. In the end, everyone loved it. I had a precise vision for my kitchen and I wasn't going to let doubt stop me from seeing it through. I wanted my kitchen to look one-of-a-kind, chic, and luxurious. Mixing metals was actually easy. It's just like mixing jewelry. The only difference is that it's a bit more permanent in the kitchen :) I sourced all of my metals and products from Lowe's because they have a huge selection and I love being bale to one-stop-shop.

Here's how I approached mixing metals in my kitchen and you can easily recreate it too. 

-Decide on one focal metal select other items around it. For me, it was my Sinkology Antique Copper sink. This beautiful farmhouse sink was my focal metal piece. It tells you, this is about to be a fun kitchen. Ha! It also tells you, expect the unexpected and be prepared to be swooned. 

-Decide on how many different metals you want to build around your focal metal. I decided on 4 others (gold, bronze, rose gold, and brass with silver appliances). Common combos are silver & gold, brass and nickel, gold & rose gold. 

-Decide if you want to keep metals that are alike together, or shift them around your kitchen. For me, I shifted them around my kitchen. I loved the flow of moving from one metal to the next. For example; My bronze sink is a beautiful rose gold Delta Trinsic faucet and next to it is my silver Samsung dishwasher. 

-Finally, decorate your space with more metals. This can be in the form of small appliances or decor items. If you've missed the entire Kitchen reveal, you can see it all here.

The New & Improved adidas Nite Jogger

When I shop for sneakers my main focus is comfort and then style. Lucky for me, I didn't have to settle for one and not the other when I chose these adidas Nite Jogger from FinishLine.com. I also tend to steer toward classic and timeless sneakers. The original Nite Jogger was introduced in 1979 and has many upgrades since then. At the core of it is comfort and style. The new and improved adidas Nite Jogger is every girl's sneaker dream. I ordered mine in black (it also comes in white/pink & white/grey). These shoes ran a little big on me so I got a 1/2 size down.

A sneaker is probably one of the easiest shoe to style. You can literally wear any and everything with it. The only thing off limit would probably be an evening gown. Ha! But if you wanted, why could you not style these adidas Nite Joggers with in a evening gown. You only live once after all.

I styled mine with Jeans, a casual shirt and light jacket. You can also style these with joggers, sweatshirts, and/or leggings. It's the perfect shoe to style casual outfits. It's extremely comfortable, soft and the fabric is breathable.

The Perfect Perfume To Gift This Mother’s Day

I’m most fortunate to have a lot of mother figures in my life. I’m constantly surrounded by strong, beautiful and fearless women. My mother is the epitome of all these things. I love celebrating her, and this Mother’s Day, will be no exception. She opened doors for me to travel, took care of me in the best way possible and made me feel loved even miles apart. I will forever be grateful to my mom. She raised my brother to know and love me even though we lived on two separate continents.
