The Best Sheer Lipstick You Must Get From Bloomingdale’s

This post is in partnership with Bloomingdale's and ShopStyle. All opinions are 100% my own.
Hi Loves.
I don't know about you guys but I love a good lipstick and one that offers stellar pigment and shine. Let me introduce you to my newest lipstick addiction, Dior Addict Stellar Shine Lipstick that I recently got from one of my favorite stores, Bloomingdales. I couldn't decide on one shade so I got four shades:) You can tell my favorite color tone is somewhere from medium reds to soft pinks. For me, I can never go wrong with these shades. These Dior Addict Stellar Shine Lipstick are sheer, luminous, and ready-to-wear for all occasions. I love that they are infused with aloe-vera mixed with oils and waxes that serves for a 24hr hydration. It's like mixing beauty and skincare all in one. Not only does my lip color look amazing but my lips are being taken care of at the same time. I've shared my four favorite colors in this post. The first one above is #667 Pink Meteor. It's soft, pretty and really enhances my natural lip color.

This one is #976 Be Dior. It's a little on the red side. It's the brightest one that I got. I love a good sheer red that gives the glossy look but is not too serious.
This is #260 Mirage. This is the lightest color I got. It's so soft and angelic. If you're looking for simple yet chic color, this is the one for you.
This is #769 Dior Fortune. This is my in between color of all the ones I got. This is when I am not feeling red nor pink. It's the perfect blend of both and it looks so pretty on.
I hope you guys enjoyed trying on these Dior Addict Stellar Shine Lipstick colors with me. If you're looking for an exceptional lipstick that has shine, nourishment, and comfort? get yourself one of these pretty sheer lipsticks from Bloomingdale's :) There are over 20 shades in this collection, so you are sure to find a few that you'll love. They also would make perfect gifts for your loved ones.
Let me know how you like them.

Where To Stay In Cape Town

We went to South Africa for our honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing. We did a Safari for the first four nights and the second four nights we stayed in Cape Town. In this post, I'm sharing with you the two boutique hotels we stayed at in Cape Town, located precisely in the Constantia area. When we decided on visiting Cape Town, we knew for sure we didn't want to stay in any of the bigger hotels. We wanted to stay in boutique hotels so that our experience was more hands on and intimate. As much as internet age allows us to research and plan out our trips wherever we go in the world, nothing beats a local feel and local knowledge. This is why we chose the two boutique hotels, The Alphen Boutique Hotel and Nova Constantia Boutique Hotel. Both are located in a suburban area just a few minutes outside Cape Town. The area is beautiful, quiet and relaxing. We knew that Uber was cheap and we would have no issues getting in and out of Cape Town.

The Alphen Boutique Hotel was so beautiful, I loved the decor and the victorian feel. The hotel has multiple restaurants on the property. I especially enjoyed the restaurant staff. They were extremely friendly and helpful. A lot of locals who live in the Constantia area also visit the hotel restaurants for lunch and dinner. We made a few friends there. The hotel staff was so lovely to leave a bottle of champagne, a note and decorated our bed with flowers as welcome in celebrating our honeymoon. I've shared pictures below.
We left The Alphen and spent our last few nights at Nova Constantia Boutique Hotel. We felt like we had gone to stay with family. The welcome was warm and very intimate. The property was quiet, and the grounds clean and relaxing. They have a chef on property that makes fresh breakfast and we enjoyed our morning coffee right off the pool. The room was plush, and cozy with the feel of luxury. The manager gave us recommendations on where to go for dinner, wine tasting nearby and were very hands on in assisting us in whatever we needed. See below for my pictures. I hope you enjoy them.
Stay tuned for another post on what to do in Cape Town.

Birdies Slippers: Chic & Comfortable

This post is in partnership with Birdies. All Opinions are 100% my own.
 Hi Guys,
Let's talk footwear today shall we?! It been almost one year since I first put my feet in a pair of Birdies slippers. I remember because it was the same exact day Meghan Markle got married to Prince Harry. I remember my initial reaction on top of the fact that they were pretty, was that they were extremely comfortable. It felt like I was walking on a bed of clouds. I thought, no way could a pair of slippers be both chic and comfortable. But, alas, Birdies is exactly that. Oh, it is no coincidence that I mentioned Meghan Markle, too. Birdies are her favorite flats and she's been a fan of them even before Harry.

When I was deciding on proposal gifts for my bridesmaids, Birdies was atop my list but, I opted for something else because most of my girls already owned Birdies. Of course these would be perfect for destination weddings, too. They are great for travel, casual days, dress up days. I currently own 5 pairs of Birdies, each of them different styles and I wear them more than any other footwear I own.
I really want to highlight their bridal collection as it is dreamy and in every sense of the word, fabulous. In these shots I'm wearing The Songbird style in Snow Crystal Color. I't been three weeks since I got married and so I am still in the bliss of a new bride. I feel like Meghan Markle is too. So, to honor Birdies and in true essence of a new bride, I style my current favourite pair with a chic white shirt dress. I styled it with Meghan in mind too, I really think she would approve my outfit. Ha!
So guys, if you don't own a pair of Birdies, I suggest you get one on your next shoe spend.
You will absolutely love it and be warned, you might become addicted just like I did.
PS- I wore their open-toe slide in style The Sparrow in Black while on my honeymoon in South Africa. It was perfect for walking around Cape Town all day.

My Kitchen Remodel Reveal

This post is in partnership with Lowe's. All opinions are 100% my own.
Hi Guys.
I'm so excited to welcome you into my home and to share my kitchen remodel update with you. My husband and I purchased this small Los Angeles City condo in 2016 and, the kitchen has been an eye-sore and energy breaker since we moved in. We knew our first big project on our home would be the kitchen. Last fall, we started the project to remodel our kitchen into what we wanted. We really wanted to keep things as simple and cost-efficient as possible, so we decided to work with Lowe's on this project. I knew that Lowe's had many options of the major items such as cabinets, flooring, countertop, and backsplash. This was important for me, because I wanted to see multiple options and to be able to make a comfortable decision on the items I wanted in my kitchen.

I went with two-tone colored scheme for the cabinets. I've always been drawn to color block styled kitchens. I love the blue for the bottom cabinets because it blends beautifully will the gold fixtures that I wanted and, it adds a lovely year round texture. I figured it would sustain dirt much better, too. For the top cabinets, I kept it a classic white and I added glass doors so I can display some of my beautiful glasses, plates, and bowls. I also decided on these floating shelves, and a color that would play off the porcelain wood look floor tiles nicely. Floating shelves are inexpensive ways to add storage to a kitchen and I really wanted to add extra storage. For the backsplash tile, I went with simple and  inexpensive Glass Mosaic Wall Tile. They look like luxury and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. For the countertop, I knew I wanted quartz and I went with Silestone in White Zeus Extreme. I used to have granite but I wanted a more solid color yet something that is just as durable. Considering that the lower cabinets are blue and the tile brings about texture, I decided on plain white quartz to balance it all out.

Let's talk about my favorite item in my new kitchen, the farmhouse sink. This farmhouse sink was at the top of my list. I knew I wanted a metallic sink and when I spotted this Sinkology Antique Copper sink on Lowe's website, I yelled BINGO! It's absolutely perfect. I chose this Delta Trinsic faucet to go with the skin because I had plans on mixing metals in my kitchen. Over the faux bar/breakfast area, I decided on this super chic yet inexpensive Portofolio Track Light. I absolutely loved how it turned out. To cozy up the area, we got these Safavieh Summerset Buttercream Bar Stools from Lowe's as well. This kitchen wouldn't be complete without recessed lights and fresh paint and chic cabinet knobs and cabinet pulls.
The kitchen turned out even more beautiful than I anticipated. My cousin came over and said it looked like an expensive celebrity home kitchen. Everyone has loved it, and we've started entertaining friends even more. I've also been cooking every single day since it's completion.
I've shared the final look in the photos below and I've also shared some before shots. You can also see the complete transformation in the video below.
