Inexpensive Ways To Decorate Your Home For The Holidays

I wanted to share this quick post with you about how you can spruce up your home this holiday season by adding simple and inexpensive pieces. Christmas only last so long and I like to add a few little things here and there yearly to make my home feel as festive as possible. I don’t like to spend too much and so I’m always looking out for affordable ways to decorate. In our living room, instead of buying new cushions which can go anywhere from $15-35, I decided to go with cushion covers instead. I got these from Amazon and they came in a pack of four. My living room colors are grey and navy so I stuck with similar colors for the Christmas decorated cushions. They’re velvety and soft. I had ordered another set of two but when  they came they felt super coarse and wasn’t the fabric I intend for my couch.

In our bedroom, I also ordered this set of red velvety cushion from Amazon and I tried to not buy decorated ones but simply plain ones. I also picked up this ho ho ho throw from TJ.Maxx to complete our bedroom feel-similar here and here.

So really, this year that’s pretty much all I added to my usual Holiday decor in our home. We are currently under construction in our kitchen so I couldn’t do anything there :)

If you’re still looking to decorate, I suggest these options from Amazon especially if you have Prime shipping. They’ll come in two days and your home will feel all the cozy holiday feels. Oh, Ikea also usually have lovely holiday cushion covers. They’re more on the simpler side but definitely will do the job. I love that it lasts all day and is easy to apply. I have an old coworker who

loves a good eyeliner and this will be my gift to her.

So, I’m obsessed with all things Fenty Beauty by Rihanna, and this Two

Lil Mattemoiselles set is such an amazing gift option.

If you have a lipstick lover in your life or know of a loved one who

wants to start wearing more lipstick, this is the gift to give them.

It wears well all day and it comes in my fave colors, Spanked and Griselda.

This set is only $19, so it is a gift that’s true to its value and quality.

OK, how cute is this Sephora Collection Wish Upon A Star Mini Brush

Set? I love that they are mini size.

Most women will buy regular size brushes for their personal use,

so gifting a mini set is such a good idea. These can fit into purses and

make-up bags with ease. There’s a restaurant I visit often during the week

and the cashier has such an amazing customer service attitude and always

goes above and beyond with my order. Her eye make-up is always on point,

so I am gifting her this mini set for the holidays. Did I mention it retails for $15,

but has a value of $28?

And lastly, this cute, yet smart gift idea, the Bite Beauty Sweet Treats Agave

Lip Care Set. It’s such an affordable and useful gift for only $12.

If someone gifted me this cute trio, I’d be so happy. I
