Hi, Loves!
I wanted to write this post to share with you just in case you’re planning a trip to Nantucket or Martha’s Vineyard in the future. What I love about travel posts is that they never expire. You can have them saved for whenever you decide to or get the chance to go. What I usually do is ‘PIN’ content from wherever I find them online to my Pinterest Travel board. I have a secret travel board and also an open one. So, simply hover over any of these photos in my blog post and click on the Pin button to directly pin this post to your board. You can easily access it whenever you want later.

Shall we get on with it?! I went to Nantucket last month to visit my best friend and for a mini vacay. I ended up doing some work with PopSugar at their Nantucket house, but it was mostly a fun trip for me. It was a short and sweet trip. This is my third time going to Nantucket, you can read a very old post here on my second trip. This time I took much better photos and I even took a day trip to Martha’s Vineyard. I love maximizing my travels. If I go somewhere that is super close to another place I'd like to visit, I definitely try to knock them both out at once.

Nantucket in the summertime is definitely fun. You have the beach, busy streets, Ice cream shops, fresh yummy restaurants, and beautiful architecture all around. It’s such a picturesque place, too. It’s easy to walk around or hop on the local bus. For once I didn’t have an itinerary so this post is so much more relaxed but with simple easy guidelines to follow. It definitely reflects the pace of both islands.

There are two ways to get to Nantucket-by airplane (easier during the summer due to more flight options) and by Ferry (cheaper option and operate all year round).
Once on the island, strolling the downtown areas is full of life and easy to get around. You simply walk the beautiful cobblestones streets and check out the amazing stores or people watch.
Go to Sconset-a small town on the Island where the homes are just beautiful. It’s such a small town feel and the homes are quaint and beautiful.
Stop by the lighthouse to check out the ocean and visit the many beaches they have.
Martha’s Vineyard was a dream. It’s the complete opposite of Nantucket. It’s so much more relaxed, diverse and full of life. We took a day trip and caught the earliest ferry and returned on the latest. We got to tour one of the gingerbread homes in Oaks Bluff where we learned history of the town.

Strolling through and checking out the gorgeous homes was the highlight of going to Martha’s Vineyard. You can also rent a scooter if you want to explore more. Most of our day was just spent strolling and walking the Oaks Bluff area and town off the dock. We ate at one of the local restaurants and the food was yummy. We ended our day trip by a park relaxing and sipping on fresh bobas.

How I Propose To My Bridal Party

Hi, Loves.
I'm so excited to share this post with you. I promised to share my wedding journey with you all and this portion of it had to make its way to my blog. First off, wedding planning is no joke and it seriously is super stressful. Not to mention, we're having a destination wedding. I keep reminding myself what The Knot says, which is #EnjoyTheJourney. By the way, if you haven't checked out our wedding hub on The Knot as yet make sure you do so here. I'm one of The Knot's Influencer Brides of the year and it has been a complete honor to be selected by the top wedding brand in the world. Also, I made it in their Fall magazine issue (see below) I literally almost passed out. It's my first magazine feature. I had gone to New York back in May with The Knot for The Royal wedding (Meghan & Harry) watch party. Make sure you pick up a copy, just for me :)
Ok, so let's get down to business. Being that we're having a destination wedding, I wanted to propose to my bridal party in a cute way that both represents them and also bring about the idea of a destination wedding. While scouring the internet I came upon these cute passport holders from LullasBoutique that I could customize and add their initials to it. I loved the gold finish on the passport holders and how chic and high end it looks and feel. I'm kind of regretting not getting one for myself. How cute, right? They have so many other amazing leather goods and I have my eyes on a few more items.
I figured something chic would go perfect with the passport holder and I went for these cute bracelets from Alex and Ani Bridal line. I knew they had a bridal line but I've never really looked at the stuff prior to being engaged. I love that the bridesmaids & maid-of-honor bracelets comes in both gold and silver options. For the bridesmaids it says "bridesmaid" at the back and "sister of my heart" at the front. The maid-of-honor bracelet has "maid-of-honor" written on the back and" my noble woman" written on the front. Just too cute.
My bride squad is in love with their proposal gifts and I cannot wait to celebrate with them on my big day.

Also, LullasBoutique was kind enough to offer my readers a 10% discount off all the products on their website-use code STYLEWEEKENDER. With the holidays coming up, it's a great idea to customize and get your friends and family monogrammed gifts.

Thanks for reading, Loves!
Stay tuned for so much more wedding related content

Finding Your Style & Confidently Owning It + A Travel Giveaway

Hi, Loves.
After sending out my newsletters to you guys and asking questions about you, I'm learning how many of you are wanting help in finding your style. First off, I want you to know that style is very subjective. It's subjective to who you are as person, they way you want to present yourself to the world and most importantly, the way you see your self and are the most comfortable.
As a blogger in this space, I share with you my style, I often find ideas around ways to wear items that I think may suit others. For example, I'm not big on sneakers/tennis shoes (I used to be). However, I love a good pair or converse of chic like sneakers/tennis shoes and I'll easily incorporate them in my more chic looks. You'll learn that so many people live for and love that style a particular style and they should always stay true to that. Style changes and you're the only caption of your ship and only you will decide when you will turn.
Generally my style is simple-chic. I love simple yet chic pieces that make me feel light-glam but not over the top. I don't like a lot of jewelry but I love cute dainty pieces that add that simple touch to my look. Dresses are my thing, I'm sure you've noticed and know that by now. However, I love jeans too. In all of this, I enjoy all types of clothing, it's only in the way I style them that differs and helps to create my own style.
I'm saying this to say to you, find joy in finding your style and what makes you happy. If you love t-shirts, stick to them but add a little something to it if you think it's plain. Maybe get a cute graphic on or add a statement necklace to it.

Let me know if you need help finding your style and/or a wardrobe refresh. I'll send you a survey, get to know your style and you'll have access to me for two weeks to help create your style and get you into some new pieces while shopping your own closet. Sounds good?
