Leather Statement Skirt + $950 Nordstrom Gift-card Giveaway

Hi again, Loves.

Yup, I'm back again today and I'm back for two reasons. One, to show you this beautiful leather statement skirt that I am in love with and also to let you know about a $950 Nordstrom Gift Card giveaway for one lucky winner this holiday season.

Now, about this skirt. I absolutely love the A-line midi fit of this skirt. It's such a ladylike beautiful silhouette and the color is so fab. It's a great option for the holidays. I wore a simple bodysuit and burgundy pumps (similar here) to compliment the color in the skirt. Finished off my look with this chic leather jacket and Chanel flap bag and off I went.

The Pantone Fall Color You Should Be Wearing

Hi Loves.

For today’s post I wanted to share with you this look and also how I have incorporated one of Pantone Fall trending color, Flame Scarlet. As an influencer, I really like to keep on trend with everything. I do not necessarily partake in all trends but, I have to at least be in the know.

I love incorporating trending colors in my outfits and home decor. For this Fall, I really gravitated toward Flame Scarlet color. I picked these pants up at H&M while at the mall one day. I instantly knew I wanted them and that they would serve a chic pick for the trending color. I’ve got another pair of layered bell pants of this color too. This gorgeous trench coat is from Lark & Ro. It’s such perfect trench for Fall and I can tell you the durability will be endless. I wore these gorgeous flats from Asos (sold out)- similar here and bow sleeves Who What Wear top (I’m obsessed Who What Wear Collection). I finished off this look with YSL sunnies and Louis Vuitton Vintage cross-body (similar here).

The Chicest Office Holiday Party Look

In the spirit of the holidays, I had to share this post with you all. I'm always in dresses or skirts and sharing the trendiest looks with you. I was thinking the other day that I should share with you guys a chic, trendy, and, fabulous office party look. Many of you know I do work full-time in a government job. This means, there is some sort of conservative approach to what I wear on a 9-5 basis. However conservative for me does not and will never mean boring. To be honest I'm the gal in the office that is dressed up every-single-day. It's just who I am and I have always been like that. Now that the holidays are upon us, there are a few office parties that take effect and I love it. I decided on this particular day to wear this gorgeous Anne Klein poncho sweater top, and Anne Klein skinny stretch pants and a classic black pump. I shopped them from Macy's. A few pieces of accessories there and there and viola!!!

As you can tell, my look is still modest, yet trendy, chic, and fab. This was a daytime office party and I had another evening party, and this look transitioned perfectly for the second party.

Of all the pieces I am wearing this Anne Klein top stands out. It has the cutest dazzle stones and fabulous shawl-like look which adds perfect dress up and festive vibe for the holidays.

I got so many compliments on this top that I am also considering gifting two people this top. Sometimes we have to pay attention to things that people say they like and their reaction to them, especially around the holidays. I listen and look out for cues and I know this will be a great gift for two of my friends.

The Most Functional Decor Piece In My Home

Happy Friday, Loves!

I wanted to share this quick post with you regarding the most functional decor piece in my home. Yes, it's my floor length mirror. I absolutely love this mirror. When we moved into our condo last year, a floor length mirror was on top of my list. I really wanted something that was both decorative and functional. It sits in my bedroom at one side of my bed and, It's severs as a functional and decorative piece. I oped for this mirror as opposed to the traditional night stand.

Once I get dressed, I can stand alongside my bed or further back towards my closet and see my look head to toe before heading out. Another reason for me placing my mirror here was that I have excellent natural light flowing in form my bedroom window. That way, I can see clearly what I am wearing or how I look.

I highlight my mirror by placing my bedside basket with extra blankets. It adds a nice touch of chic to the space and take away the bland look of simply placing the mirror only. This mirror also has a nice gold and cream design which compliments my bed and ties in with some of the color tone of the painting above my bed.

I wouldn't quite call myself a minimalist but, I enjoy clean, chic, and simply look to my living space.

I do not know about you but I am so ready for the holidays. There is so much to look forward to during this time of year. Denim Classics & The Trendiest Mules

Popping in quickly to talk about this super chic street style look and how easy it is to make your way through Fall in affordable trends, specifically, mules.

I had partnered with Lee on an Instagram post and had some extra shots left over and thought I would share this look with you all. Lee is such a classic brand and I absolutely love their clothing. They are great quality and, most important, have effortless movement capability. Both Tee and Jeans are from Lee and my bag is Angela Roi.

Now, if you haven't seen mules all around social media or in person then I can safely say you don't follow or notice trends. Ain't nothing wrong with that. However, if you are looking to hop on a trend this fall I would absolutely suggest getting yourself a pair of mules. Also, do remember that when it comes to trends, you really do not need to spend a lot.
