Chic Spring Staple Pieces

As Spring approaches I'm in the process of transitioning my closet. This means putting away all of my Winter clothes and bringing out those fresh Spring items. Each season, I pick up a few items, some on trend and most staple-like. Today, I'm sharing with you two of my recent Spring picks from Uniqlo. I'm definitely obsessed with the look, texture, feel, and style of Uniqlo pieces so this was a no brainer. 

I picked up functional pieces that can served for work or fun. This Drape Long Jacket is made of Polyester material, it is resistant to wrinkling and easy to care for. It is also not lined and that makes it great for transition to Summer time. Remember, functionality! My Drape Jogger Pants is only gathered in the back so the front definitely gives a cleaner appearance. Again, functionality. I can just throw on a t-shirt and sneaks and instantly be super casual. I love the soft pastel colors and how they fit me like a glove. I'm also obsessed with the way they feel on my skin. I mean, I feel great and I look great. At the end of the end of the day, that's how your staples pieces should make you feel.

How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun, anything exciting happened? Do tell. Step One:Where am I going, what is the dress code and what time of day.? I also think about the decor of the place (I look it up online if it's my first time) and tie that in with my outfit. 

Step Two: Go through my closet and pick three choices and work down from there.

Step Three: I try them on, decide which one looks good at that time or which one suits the location, my comfort level and need for my time out. 

Clearly I went with option two for girls night out. it was fun and loose and offered space for drinks, desert, and lots of food. 

I also tend closely to my jewelry choices and select pieces that wont outdo my dress. After all, it is girls night out, and not a fashion show. 

I absolutely love the renewed color and tone of my hair after using Schwarzkopf and that makes me more confident to flip my hair with my girls over good conversations. Nothing beats confidence and happiness.

Many of you have seen my vibrant, rambunctious, and overly energetic Matlipoo Marley on my Instagram, Snapchat, and here on the blog before. Today’s post is all about him, because why not. My lifestyle is quite the ‘healthy & balanced’ kind for the most part. In my home, we tend to mostly eat clean  and we stay away from bad food, most times. When we got Marley, one of our thoughts were, what would he eat? Do we encourage the same lifestyle for him? A Good Serum Goes A Long Way

Hello Loves!

Happy midweek. I just wanted to stop by and share with you all this V11 Total Care Serum that I have been loving lately from Cailyn Cosmetics. I have been using it for almost two weeks and am so excited about what I am seeing that I had to share. It is simply amazing as I can see how my face has brightened. I know it's the concentration of Vitamin C in this serum that did that for me. My skin has changed so much so that I literally went running errands yesterday without make-up. That's a win for me. It's also great for wrinkles, pore reduction and combined moisturizing. I guess that is why it is called all in one. 

At first I thought oh gosh, it's a little jar BUT this little thing looks like it will last me a few months because I quickly realize I do not need a lot. I simply squeeze a bit onto my fingers and distribute over my face and finish off what is left on my neck. 

An there you have it, my face glowing beautifully make-up free. I love it.
