Hello there loves!
Here's to my first post of the year. I hope you are all having a lovely new year so far. To be honest the last few weeks I have really been in deep thought about the future of this blog. There comes a time through any creative journey where you feel you either need a break, switch things up, or take a risk. I'm considering all three and I will be sure to let you know what my decisions are.
So on with this look. We have been having lots of rain in Southern California for the past few months. I have lived her for 11years and this is the most rain I have experienced, which is very good for the state. I am definitely a fan of the rain, I think it dates back to my childhood growing up in the caribbean where rain is a weekly occurrence. It is very soothing and relaxing and really gives the place a clean feel, smell, and look.
I own one paid of rain boots and these Michale Kors ones make their way from the depth of my closet whenever it rains heavily. I've found similar pairs here and here and a few more in the widget above. I paired my boots with my guy's Diesel utility jacket- similar here , this chic tiered bell sleeve top and high rise denim. Topped it off with my favorite sunnies and crisps white handbag- in beige here.
Have a great week this week my loves and thanks for stopping by
xoxo

I love these types of "Slickers" but they are so heavy on my feet. The top edge design on Michael's is the eye catcher and this shade of green is the best! I have for several years wanted to buy 'Hunter" rubber rain boots. They have a knit insert that folds over the top of boot and says HUNTER. They have styles that come mid-calf which is best for 5'2"gals. In Honor of Debbie Reynolds....Let us all keep singing in the rain during 2017.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the way you styled these boots ! I have shiny red and black but I never wear them because I feel so clumsy and frumpy. Now that I see the way you styled yours I will rethink this ! You look absolutely amazing!
ReplyDeleteI adore those green rain boots!
