As many of you know, I am very caring towards my skin and how I take care of it. I have always been like that since I was a child. I think I learned it from my mother and grandmother, especially my mom, she is notorious for taking excellent care of her skin. With that said, being kind and attentive to your skin can be really easy, and in the long run, it will thank you. You really do not need to use expensive products to achieve wonderful skin, it is more about giving your skin the right amount of attention and time.

Today I am talking skin care and I've partnered with Dove to share with you the New Dove Dry Oil Collection featuring the Dove Dry Oil Beauty Bar and Dove Dry Oil Moisture Body Wash.

Dove is a household brand that has really lived up to its name, and the best thing is, it is always very affordable. The New Dove Dry Oil collection helps nourish and protect skin from dryness in the shower by effectively cleansing without leaving skin feeling dry and features a nourishing formula infused with Moroccan Argan oil beads to gently cleanse while helping to replenish nutrients to the skin. Sometimes you need a simple yet effective body wash to offer your body a nourishing wash. This Dove Dry Oil Body Wash will do just that. If you want to take it up a notch, you can easily add a few household items such as oatmeal, brown sugar, and olive oil to create a simple yet effective body scrub. Mix those ingredients in a bowl and add just the same amount of Dove Dry Oil Moisture Body Wash you would use for bathing; apply, scrub, and rinse. Super easy and very affordable.

Happy new week, I hope that for the people that celebrate Easter, you had a lovely one. Today’s business is all about delicate jewelry and spring whites, two of my faves in one. I’m wearing two beautiful mini cuffs from Kendra Phillip. Kendra Phillip is an attainable luxury jewelry brand inspired by minimalist glamour and modern luxury. They are 100% made in the USA, and are socially responsible in their manufacturing process. I love dainty jewelry as they are easy to wear and almost always fit with any type of clothing.
I'm wearing the Lindsay Mini Cuff and Flawless Mini Cuff, these cuffs are also great gift options because they are flexible in fit. You can easily open out or close tighter depending on wrist size.

To show off the beauty of my dainty jewelry I decided to wear all white on Easter Sunday. I love all white outfits, my only problem is, It’s hard for me to keep it clean all day. I did, however, manage to keep this outfit intact for the few hours I was out. Of course I have been living in these red strappys since I got them and I imagine that is what will happen with these dainty cuffs too. Yup, keep an eye out on my Instagram page and you shall surely see them is high rotation.

All gold pieces are 18 kt. gold plated. Everything is nickel free. The best way to wash the pieces is with a damp cloth, soap and water. If necessary, acetone/alcohol can be gently used to remove any grit. Otherwise, stand clear of chemicals. For the month of March a portion of Kendra Phillip proceeds will go to New Urban Arts. Today I wanted to share with you this easy, quick, filling, and healthy recipe. I’ve shared with you my Homemade Acai Bowl in an earlier post and today were are talking about this yummy Berrylicious Protein-Packed Yogurt Bowl. So here’s my story about Yogurt. I never use to be a yogurt fan, I use to hate the taste, and I am talking about any type of yogurt, even frozen one. With that said, could you imagine the first time I tried plain Greek yogurt? I just couldn’t see myself eating it and enjoying it. I learned that plain Greek yogurt has a lot of protein and thought hmm? This could really save me time in the mornings or give me a quick, healthy filler meal when I’m on the go!

I thought, well if I am going to eat Greek yogurt, I’ll have to spice it up and make it tasty. This yummy bowl of goodness is what I came up with and it is super quick and easy to make. It is perfect if you are on a healthy diet or if you live a busy lifestyle.

Here’s what you will need and how to make it:

Non-Fat or 2% Fat Plain Greek Yogurt

Honey

Cinnamon

Berries of your choice

(I used Raspberries, Blueberries & Blackberries)

Peanut Butter

Add Plain Greek Yogurt in a bowl

Add 1 Tablespoon Cinnamon

Add 2 Tablespoons of Honey

Garnish with berries

Add ½ or 1 scoop of peanut butter

Enjoy with your favorite cup of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water or, beverage.

This is super easy, you can add whatever fruits you like, sometimes I add apples, dates, unsweetened coconut flakes, dried cranberries, or nutmeg just to switch it up. There is really no limit. It is also effective snack option you can grab-and-go. I usually eat this 3-4 times a week. I always buy two tubs of plain Greek yogurt, one for home and the other for work. I am usually full for about 2-3 hours on a small serving of this. If I’m rushing to work out and I really need to eat, I always make this as it gives me so much energy for my workout session.

Hello Loves!

Happy New week and Hello Spring. I know some of you are not experiencing a ‘spring-like’ weather in many parts of the world. A mean, for us Southern Californians, it is gloomy as can be today. It totally feels like Winter but, compared to snow and rains storms that some of you are experiencing, I have no complaints.

Today’s look definitely beckons warmer weather in this Jessica Simpson dress and these beautiful red strappy sandals. Let me tell you a story. I am an avid yet savvy shopper, my pennies are worth a lot to me, and I fell in love with these style of sandals when I first saw Aquazzura with them. That was the first brand I saw these in. Fast Forward to some months I was browsing a certain store and a beautiful pair of the same style was just staring me down and willing me to try it on. Like the partial show addict I am, I obliged. I fell even deeper in love with them on my feet that my wallet crawled out of my bag and paid for them. They came home with me but guilt stepped in and counseled on how much I paid for them. I just wasn’t at a point where I should spend that much on a pair of shoes. Do not get me wrong, I spend and own a balanced amount of ‘expensive’ shoes but at that time, it wasn’t necessary per my goals and budget, so I returned them with sorrow.

Fast forward again to when I spotted these beauties online at Charlotte Russe. I contemplated for a bit and said, what the heck, they’re buy one for $32 get the other for $12. Uhm hello, my wallet was nudging like “go for it”. At first I thought, at least they will look cute, even if they aren’t comfortable but, to my surprise, these babies are both cute and extremely comfortable. Win!!!!!!! I’ve been in love ever since. Unfortunately, they only have three sizes left in the redL but, the nude and black are just as beautiful.

I decided to pair my sandals with this beautiful dress for a simple dinner date. I added the leather Jacket for an edgy look as it got colder.
