A Bohemian Fall

Happy Monday darlings!

I do hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and that you are off to a productive week. I just wanted to share with you this cute little number I wore a few days back and also contemplated wearing on Thanksgiving day (I didn’t though). I know if I told you my dress is only $29.00 you would believe me right? Well no games here it is exactly that. I love affordable pieces that looks like a million bucks and that is exactly how I felt twirling around in this pretty floral ruffle dress from Charming Charlie.

I decided to pair it with these cute Steve Madden OTK (currently 40% off) get them now. I've had them on high rotation lately. I’m sure you have seen it on my Instagram account many times and in this post here too. You cannot go through fall and winter without a pair of OTK boots, they’re trendy and comfortable and so many options at many price points. I really loved wearing this outfit out for a weekend date and I had to stop and take a few snaps to share with you.

My Cozy Bedroom With Rugs USA

Hi Loves!

I have been wanting to share my bedroom decor with you all and to be honest I went through mild reservations about it for a while. I pondered on the idea of sharing too much and wanting to keep pieces of my life private but then I remembered I embarked on this journey to SHARE. My friends and family always comment on my decor taste and are usually fond of it. I picked up my sense of home decor from my mother and my grandaunt. Both women are pristine and have excellent eye for details. There styles are very different, my mother is more on the clean crisps contemporary side and my grandaunt is more lavish and over the top. I have found my taste somewhere in between both but with a touch of very clean colors and styling.

So, take a walk with me as I share with you my cozy bedroom. When we first bought his house, we were adamant on painting our bedroom ourselves. We chose this silver bullet grey as the accent wall and white on the other walls. The second step was to choose a rug and I knew Rugs USA was going to be my go to for a rug to match the walls. I chose this pretty Herringbone/Chevron rug with earthy hues and I could not be happier with it. I got a 5'x8' as I wanted a half lay under our queen bed.

I also got the same size rug pad for the chevron rug so as to ensure it does not slip. Our bed is heavy enough to keep it in place but a little extra cushion does not hurt.

I added the rug pad then laid the rug on top of it. I love that this rug has the right amount of cushion and is so so beautiful to look at. I can tell you, it is even more beautiful in real life. When I was choosing this rug, I read the reviews on the website and many others mention how much more beautiful it was to the naked eye.

Two Chic Looks For Fall

Hiya loves! It's the day before Thanksgiving and just before we go about seasoning an marinating our foods for cooking tomorrow, I just want to stop by and share these two looks with you from Closet London. I love their pieces as they carry chic and high quality for really affordable prices. These colors are extremely fall-y and would make great statement pieces for holiday parties or any event this season.

For the first look, I styled this pretty pep hem long sleeve dress with this cute nude bag (similar here) and leopard pumps (similar here). I live in Southern California, so the most I could do to layer up is add a cute plaid scarf.

For the second look I'm wearing this mod bell sleeve top. Bell sleeves are so on trend and if you plan on owning one, this is definitely a huge contender. It can be dressed both up and down. I kept the lower portion soft and subtle by wearing these booties and chic bucket bag (similar here) to keep focus on this beautiful top.

Hello Red Silk Dress

Well Happy Monday loves! Today's post features this pretty red silk dress from Behno. I had to style it two ways for you to show you how versatile this dress is. It has cute cape detailing across the shoulder and back and a I especially love the front area as it does not grip so much around the stomach. For the first look I paired it with nude sandals and a nude shoulder bag. For the second look I paired it with this super cozy scarf and ankle boots for a more casual vibe. If it's cold where you are I can see a nice coat and OTK boots for the win on this one. You can also easily style it with stockings and flats and off you go.
