Red Tassel Strappy Sandals

Happy New week and Hello Spring. I know some of you are not experiencing a ‘spring-like’ weather in many parts of the world. A mean, for us Southern Californians, it is gloomy as can be today. It totally feels like Winter but, compared to snow and rains storms that some of you are experiencing, I have no complaints.

Today’s look definitely beckons warmer weather in this Jessica Simpson dress and these beautiful red strappy sandals. Let me tell you a story. I am an avid yet savvy shopper, my pennies are worth a lot to me, and I fell in love with these style of sandals when I first saw Aquazzura with them. That was the first brand I saw these in. Fast Forward to some months I was browsing a certain store and a beautiful pair of the same style was just staring me down and willing me to try it on. Like the partial show addict I am, I obliged. I fell even deeper in love with them on my feet that my wallet crawled out of my bag and paid for them. They came home with me but guilt stepped in and counseled on how much I paid for them. I just wasn’t at a point where I should spend that much on a  pair of shoes. Do not get me wrong, I spend and own a balanced amount of ‘expensive’ shoes but at that time, it wasn’t necessary per my goals and budget, so I returned them with sorrow.

Fast forward again to when I spotted these beauties online at Charlotte Russe. I contemplated for a bit and said, what the heck, they’re buy one for $32 get the other for $12. Uhm hello, my wallet was nudging like “go for it”. At first I thought, at least they will look cute, even if they aren’t comfortable but, to my surprise, these babies are both cute and extremely comfortable. Win!!!!!!! I’ve been in love ever since. Unfortunately, they only have three sizes left in the redL but, the nude and black are just as beautiful.

I decided to pair my sandals with this beautiful dress for a simple dinner date. I added the leather Jacket for an edgy look as it got colder.
