Currently: Favorite Lipsticks + iMac & Kate Spade Giveaway

Today I wanted to talk a bit of beauty, and I want to touch
on the topic of lipsticks. I must admit I wasn’t always a lipstick lover. I’ve
only gotten into lipsticks over the past three years. I was more a lip gloss
type of gal. Thankfully matte lipsticks changed my whole perception of lip beautification, and from there, I garnered my way to sheen and all types of textures. Mattes
are definitely my favorite though. I am currently lusting and wearing five main
shades of lipsticks. I do wear some more than others but, these are totally
trending in my make-up bag.
- M.A.C Matte, Persistence- This is probably my favorite shade currently. I literally wear this shade 4-5 days out of the week. I love how neutral it is and how great it matches my skin tone. Considering that I have super large lips (which I love), I still have to be careful as to the colors I wear and how they impact my overall look. I never have to consider the rest of my look when wearing this color. I go through this shade so quickly.
- Christian Louboutin Velvet Matte, Survivita- This is my favorite dress up color. It has the perfect mixture of matte pop pink, but with a neutral undertone. I love wearing this color with neutral or monochrome outfit combo. I plan on wearing it more during Spring and Summer because it is such a fun color.
- Chanel, Rouge Allure Velvet 31 LA Bouleversante- I’m currently enjoying two shades of red and a girl cannot have too many red lipsticks. It is pertinent that we have more than one shade of red. This shade is an alluring red with berry undertone. This is great during Fall and Winter and is perfect with dark clothing. I love wearing all black, pulling my hair back with little to no jewelry and a pop of this gorgeous red painted on my lips.
- M.A.C The Matte Lip in Heroine- Last Fall I decided to step my lipstick game up by adding a really bold color (at least for me it is). After trying on multiple colors I went for this medium purple vibe. I love this, I tend to go with this when I just need a whole new change to my face. I find myself dressing up my lip with this color whenever I wear something super casual like plain jeans and a t-shirt. I’ve also worn it out at night as it gave my face more definition in the dark.
- M.A.C Ruby Woo- Yes, you guessed it, I’m now on the Ruby Woo band wagon. This is my latest acquisition and I must say I really like it. This red has such a fun vibe to it. It has a vibrant fun tone that makes it perfect for all year round, especially, Spring and Summer. M.A.C has a great recycling program where, for every six M.A.C containers you turn in, you get a free lipstick or lip gloss. I traded in my empty products and decided to try this color and I’m totally loving it.
