Turks & Caicos Diary

Well hello my darlings! Finally, here's my photo diary from my trip to Turks and Caicos Islands. I had such a hard time choosing photos to share with you guys, seriously. I'm still battling as to which ones to eliminate and which others to add. Let's not get hung up on specifics right? I've laid out all the photos here in this post to create a story for you so here goes. (photo above-backyard-leading to beach)

Polka Dot Print Skirt

Hi Loves!
Yes, here we go again, another skirt. Ha! I love skirts, sue me. There's something freeing, classic, and sexy about skirts, for me at least. I fell deeply in love with this little polka dot number. Something like this is a fun and always trendy piece to have in your closet. It could be long, midi or short. Whichever works best, it's a good idea to own one, especially if you are a skirt lover.

Flared Denim + Plaid Cardigan

I often hear the terms millennials, tech-savvy, and most recently 'the makers". I work in education, specifically an area that is focused on Hi-Tech and the tech industry wing as it relates to education. I get it, these groups are almost always on their phones and, being that I'm also a blogger (still hard say), I'm almost always on my phone. So, picture my everyday with both jobs, my regular full time and blogging. It almost screams madness. What's important is that I get to dress comfortably while 'on my phone'. I hate to admit it but my head is usually down and it is quite easy to earn myself a spot on a viral YouTube video by walking into a post or, God forbid, walking into an ongoing vehicle.

I love the easy feel of this cardigan and I love wearing my flats. This denim pants is also both comfortable and trendy. Win-win.

What's your tech addiction?

Vince Plaid Cardigan and also love this one , Flared Denim, H&M Tank Top:similar here & here, Kate Spade Bag: similar here, here & here, Eyekonic Sunnies (gifted).

Mermaid Skirt & Houndstooth Jacket

Hi Darlings
Today I'm sharing with you this gorgeous skirt that I couldn't resist, and one that is a perfect staple to hold on to for special occasions. I've always loved skirts, especially long ones. This one reminded me of when I was a young adult growing up in church and embracing hip-hugging skirts (because maturity showed and I felt womanly). Something's haven't quite changed. I love when a skirt hugs my silhouette and show off my curves, gracefully and tastefully. This did it for me.
Now, here's the shocker, I'm wearing a one piece swimwear underneath as a body suit. Sometimes you just have to get creative to achieve the look you want, right?
This Houndstooth jacket (similar here) I've had for over 8 years and It kind of got lost in the back of my closet, so when I stumbled up on it the other day, I knew I had to wear it soon.

Here are the deets and options on my outfit:
H&M Skirt, Asos One-piece Swimwear (worn as a bodysuit), Jacket: Similar Houndstooth Jacket & Love this too, Zara Sandals: Similar here & Here, Clutch: Similar here & Here

Thanks for swinging by loves

Cut-Out Shoulder Dress

Hello darlings!
Today I'm wearing this beautiful mustard color cut-out shoulder H&M dress I found in store the other day, it was on sale for $25. The material is very soft and free flowing. I decided to pair it with my purple Aldo shoes as I love mixing mustard and purple or mustard and burgundy etc. My favorite detail about this dress has to be the shoulders. I love the feminine touch of a cut-out shoulder dress or top. This dress is more on the conservative side, so if you are, this is  a great/type option for you to try.

Dress(H&M): similar style here & here; Shoes: Aldo ; Bag(via T.J Maxx): similar here & love this option , Necklace was a gift but here's a similar one and I love this too; Sunnies: Ferragamo (these are my guy's but I cannot stop wearing them).

Thanks for swinging by loves.
xoxo
