I've been loving lots of Burgundy lately and this skort is one of my new fave piece of clothing. A skort is such a great way to maximize comfort and style. Usually with skirts at this length  you kind of have to worry about wind action and so you are a bit stricken. However, with a skort you get to enjoy the benefits of a skirt and the comfort of a shorts. Oh, that's a win. 

Let's talk about my newest acquisition, this lace-up ballet flat. I'm so in love, I'm especially in love with its unique color, gold. Lace-up flats are definitely on trend and has been since early winter so it's no surprise these beauties are in high demand. 

I was having a casual evening out to see a movie (I saw The Intern-So So good) and I felt this was fitting and comfortable for an evening movie.

  1. Love those golden, lace-up, Grecian, flats! I have to now check out the Gap more often. Burgundy shorts with the pleat detail... very nice and the fabric, was it light weight suede?
