Pretty-in-Pink with Shabby Apple

Today I want to share with you this gorgeous pink lace dress from Shabby Apple. I must admit I have been drooling over their dresses and skirts for a while now. With wedding season upon us this dress serves as a perfect option. The great thing about this dress for weddings is that you get to be fabulous while not taking anything away from the bride. Win-Win right?. The color is very fitting for summer and the lace adds a touch of old glam. This dress is light as a feather and we know how heavy long dresses can be.

There are many ways to wear this dress. Initially I was going to pair it with a gold glitter strappy sandals but I figured why not color-block with a royal blue (goes great with pink), and -viola! Another way to style this dress for a formal occasion is to sleek back a sexy pony tail, add a statement necklace and, stud earrings. I really wanted to be a bit bold while maintaining the simplicity of this dress so I added this leopard clutch and green-gold drop earrings. If you color-block on your clothing , I suggest keeping jewelry minimal.

I have major plans on re-wearing this dress. I plan on adding a denim shirt over the top, tie it at the waist and pair it with dainty flat sandals for a more casual look-maybe dinner on the pier.  I can also add a solid color crop top over the top and make it appear as if it is a skirt.
