Romper Style

Hey loves:) Welcome to the weekend! Whoo Hoo!

Judging from the name of my blog, I live for the weekends. I get to sleep in late, get dressed up outside of work-style, eat out, catch up with family & friends, spend countless hours on Pinterest and, spending precious time with my guy.
Last Monday was Memorial Day holiday and this was what I wore to a BBQ. I initially planned on wearing just the romper & sandals, but the weather thought otherwise. It was so gloomy and cold (to me-I call anything under 70 cold-blame the 'islandness' in me). I figured if I put on these thigh-high boots and this long vest (I had a blanket scarf in the car-just in case), I'd withstand the chill.

Other Styling options:

1. Romper & Sandals/Tennis Shoes
2.Vest & Tshirt Dress w/ Flats
3. Full Body suit w/ Vest & Heels

Vest: Forever21 , Romper: Old Navy, Boots -old(Report): From Victoria's Secret , Handbag (Kate Spade): similar Here Kate Spade , Necklaces: Topshop, Watch: DKNY, Lips: NYX in Natural

As always guys, thank you for reading.

Boom Boom Lilly Pulitzer Dress

Hello loves:)

Today I am sharing another Lilly Pulitzer buy from their collaboration with Target. This is the Boom Boom Dress, which is named after the print fabric. This dress is actually an XL but I don't mind as it is loose and roomy, perfect for Spring & Summer. This is my second time wearing it and I promise you it will be over worn. The first time I wore it, I styled it with the Lilly for Target wedges and, I also plan on wearing it with some gold or white flats for a super casual look.

Another way to wear dresses like these is to put a skinny belt around the waist (esp. if you are a plus size) this will give definition to a slim waist.

You can also throw a thigh length blazer over it to polish it up a bit. Or, a denim jacket and flat tennis shoes.

Dress (sold out): Target (Lilly Pulitzer for Target)- Option Here & Here , Shoes: Michael Kors- similar Here & Here, Handbag: Louis Vuitton, Sunnies: Ray-Ban Polarized , Watch: DKNY, Bracelet: Lilly for Target, Earrings: Kate Spade

It is almost the weekend. Hang it there and enjoy the rest of your day:)

White-Out

My goal for the summer is to wear lots of white and neutral colors. Last weekend I decided to get a jump start because, if I wait until it is summer, I wont have enough days to wear all white. Some people love the texture of a white outfit against their skin (I do) and some do not care much for it. Whatever your color palette is, make it work for you. I particularly love to see all white against the darkest of skin. To keep a look like this super casual, just throw on some converse, a flat sandals, or a simple wedge. Hope you are all having a great week. Any particular color or style you cant wait to rock this summer? Comment below and share with us:)

Maxi Frock

Happy Friday Yall:)
Remember my confession earlier this week regarding my dress obsession/phase? Well am still guilty. But, this time I brought to you the most gorgeous everyday long floral number. I have no words to describe it, so here you go, just look at it for yourself-hehe!

Here are two other ideas to style it; 1. Unbutton the whole thing and wear a leggings and tank top underneath with ballet flats, 2. Button it halfway down and wear just a pair of skinny jeans and some heeled sandals, 3. Put a short solid-color mini bodycon underneath and open the entire thing like a kimono.

Enjoy your weekend darlings. Any plans for Memorial day? I plan on doing some DIY projects that I have been wanting to do and, I have a book by Patti Labelle that I plan on reading with a nice glass of Shiraz or Chardonnay.

Dress: H&M, Sandals: Tahiri, Crossbody Bag: Primark, Sunnies: Melrose Flea Market, Watch: DKNY, Earrings: Via Rocksbox (use code: styleweekenderxoxo) to get 1 month free jewelry.

Balmain X H&M Colloboration

Well hello loves!
I would be doing you all a disservice if I didn't make it known (for those who don't know) that Balmain & H&M are collaborating to bring us an awesome phenomenal collection this Fall. H&M have previously done this with Alexander Wang, Versace, Anna Dello Rosso to name a few. For the masses such as myself, I get super excited when high fashion powerhouses such as Balmain and the like, collaborates. We all want a piece of the high fashion cake. Well, at least I do. I have salivated multiple times over Balmain's pieces, so, the idea that I can now afford it, makes me happy. I have one worry though, sigh! Remember my story about (Lilly for Target collabo-Read It Here). The potential of it all being sold out online and the fact that people will be camping out at the stores-makes me a bit sad. I do hope they limit each buyer to a certain amount of pieces, that way we can all get a piece the cake.
The photos here (taken from Instagram) are some of the pieces that will be in the collection. I will keep you up to date as this develops.
Oh! and, by the way, I love Olivier Rousteing and his work. He is exceptionally talented and, I love the work he does over at Balmain.

Chat later guys!

Wrap & Slit Dress

We all go through phases in our fashion lives. I am currently in a dress phase; ask me why? I do not know, but  I am. I love feeling feminine and flirty and this dress adds just that to my life. I love the idea or the wrap and high slit mix in one and, let's not forget the cross straps in the back.

Here are three other ways that this dress can be worn:

1.Add a fedora and solid color gladiators , 2. Flat sandals and a tote bag 3. Solid flats/ankle boots and a motorcycle jacket.

Dress: Zara , Sandals: ASOS-similar here Express , Clutch: Thrifted., Necklace: Topshop,  Bracelet: Kate Spade, Lips: NYX

Here is a look at these gorgeous paper bag waist shorts. The great thing about these types of shorts is the versatility. This is one way you can wear them. I also added the blazer to show you another way of wearing it. In the hot summer months you can easily just add a tank top, a tube top, a crop top or a simple fitted T-shirt. Hope you like:)

Denim Shirt Dress & Free Rocksbox Jewelry

Well hello Styleweekender loves! "how you doing?" (in my Wendy Voice).
Man, have I had a week this week so far. I have been trying to write this post since Tuesday and I am barely finding the time, right now, to do so. Having a full-time job and maintaining a blog is a great challenge. If I didn't love styling outfits and the like, I probably would have given up on this blog a long time ago.
Anyway, I am excited about this post for two reasons:
1. The opportunity for you all to get 1 month's free of Rocksbox Jewelry
2. I am in my element and comfort zone wearing this denim shirt dress.

When Rocksbox asked me to wear some of their jewelry I instantly jumped on the idea because it was free for 1 month. I figured, what can I loose. I added this Gorjana necklace on my wish list and they sent it to me with 4 other pieces ( a total of 3 designers). I have been eyeing Gorjana for a while now, every time I go into Nordstrom, I look at them and tell myself to walk away. Well here I got to try it before I decide to buy, if I wanted to buy. I love that idea. These CC Skye ring also came in the box and I love them. If you want to try them out, you can use my code 'styleweekenderxoxo' on their website here Rocksbox which provides you with your first month free. A mean, why not try it? If you like it then you can trade, borrow or buy. If not, then walk away at no cost.
On another note, I felt super girly and really comfortable in this denim number. The fabric was super soft. I also loved the idea that it was only $32.90 because denim shirt dresses can be quite costly.

Denim Shirt Dress: Forever21, Shoes (old): Kenneth Cole-option Here & Here , Tote: Tory Burch, Necklace c/o: Gorjana via Rocksbox , Rings c/o: CC Skye via Rocksbox , Sunnies: Melrose Flea Market (I got them for only $7 Bucks), Watch: DKNY, Earrings: Kate Spade

Have a great rest of week guys. I have one more day of work and then I can relax, well not necessarily, but I wont have to do "work work'. You know what I mean.
xoxo.
Keyma.
