Spring White

Spring is here and I am super excited, it means we are closer to summer than we were in winter :-) hehe! I decided to pop out my Spring whites and add a soft color of blush to it. I plan on abusing neutrals, whites, blushes and simple pallates this Spring and Summer. I already have a cart load full of clothes sitting in my Shopstyle account.  For the first time I didn't look at "trends', as in, colors, styles etc. for the current and upcoming seasons. I decided to do a little bit of "me". I challenge you all to do something similar, be it in your fashion, work, play etc. Do You!!!!!

DIY Mason Jar Flower Vase

Mason Jar
Scissors
Masking Tape
Metallic Gold spray paint
White spray paint

1.Stuff the Mason Jar with old grocery bags( so as to not get paint on the inside)
2. Use masking tape to make a perfect circle around the center of the jar (or wherever you prefer-top/bottom)
3. Spray paint the areas & try to avoid the taped area.
 4. After you finished spraying the areas, remove the tape.

 

I have an obsession with mason jars. I must admit, Initially I use to just love them, but if I am going to be honest, I must say I am obsessed with them. I use them for decorating, storage and for my green justices or smoothies. The great thing about mason jars is that they can be found almost anywhere and are the price range is wide, they can also be used for many different purposes. I have been using this one for my kale juice but I lost the cover and decided that I would turn it into a flower vase. I didn't just want any boring flower vase, so I decided to make a quick run to Michaels and the dollar tree and VIOLA!!!!!

Mason Jar (Old): I got mine for $1 at the Dollar Tree, similar here Amazon, Gold Spray Paint: Michael's , White Matte Spray Paint: Michael's , Sisal Twine: I bought mine at the Dollar tree for $1, option here Amazon , Fresh Daffodils from Trader Joe's.

Faux Everything

Happy Friday loves, any special plans for the weekend? I am hoping to go see the Cinderella movie. I am especially fond of the idea that Lilly James is the lead, as I love her in Downton Abbey. This was a look I wore out a few weekends ago. It was quite chilly and I felt Faux Fur-Faux leather appropriate:)

Minimalist- Black & White

 

Sometimes we dress ourselves base on our mood, right? Ever threw on some shabby old pants, old tennis shoe and say "am ready"? Other times a sexy skin-fitting dress with super chic pumps? For this look I went easy breezy minimalist in black and white with little to no accessory. I cannot get enough of Tulle's. I just love them. I am actually thinking it may have just replaced a staple in my closet-not sure which one-but certainly competing with one.

Versace Versace

If you ask me to play dress-up I will say YES! go ahead...try it. I will say YES to the 10th power if you say "it is something extraordinary" such as this Versace number. I couldn't resist when I was asked  to pose in this gorgeous top. This was my first time trying on a piece of Versace clothing and I must say I am in love. The silk is pure and free flowing, it is as if I wasn't wearing anything. The fabric is so light and easy for me to feel effortlessly chic and sexy without baring anything. This is definitely a goal, to own for myself, one of these gorgeous Versace shirts. 

For the look, I paired it with my midi waist J Brand pants, Pigalle pumps and kept it minimum so nothing could take away from the look. 

I couldn't help but to sing Drake's song the entire time shooting this outfit  "Versace, Versace, Medusa head on me like I'm 'Luminati. This is a gated community, please get the --- off my property" Haha-crack my self up!
