Floral Sequins

The holidays definitely call for sequins of some sort. There are too many parties and gatherings to go to. I must admit, I love it. I wore this dress to a small holiday party just before I left for the Christmas holiday. I added this blush jacket to stay on trend and a few pops of color-because I cant live without color :) 

Today is the last day of the year and am so thankful to have started this journey and for your support.

Comfy Runner

I am currently visiting home (Jamaica), but I wanted to share this post with you  that features this outfit I wore to run last minute errands before my travels. I must admit, the comfort in these Forever21 shoes, are amazing. They did a fine job keeping up with my hustle and bustle. It is that time of year that excites many of us, but, also confuse many of us. If you are stuck in a bind as to what to get your spouses, families, friends etc, here is a simple gift guide to help you out. I have also added direct links to each product to make it easy for you. This is a general guide that can either directly help you, or point you to ideas that can help you in making the decisions for the perfect gift this holiday. 

For her, if she hasn't specifically stated what she wants or presented you a Christmas list, then these are a few items that can add sparkle to her life after opening. These are also gifts that, if you already know what you are getting her and, want to add something else, any will do. 

For him, Most guys are quite easy to gift, even if he has everything. A cologne, unless he is allergic, is always a good idea. Watches are also a great idea and simple trinkets such as scarves (that many times they don't shop for these for themselves). A pair of boots is super ideal because of the Transition into Winter.

Tis The Season

Happy Monday Loves!

Today I wanted to share with you one of my holiday looks. Attending Christmas parties and/or end-of- year celebrations are, for me, an exciting  part of the holiday season. My style tips for these occasions are dresses and jumpsuits. This just make it so much easier  to choose your outfits since you likely will be attending 2 or more events. All you need to worry about are your shoes and accessories. I mentioned in a previous post that I won a $50 TJMaxx gift card back in October and I bought a stripe blouse (worn Here), a pair of flat sandals and, this dress. This dress was only $34.99 and I knew instantly I would be wearing it to a holiday event. Adding a flare of holiday colors (such as red,green,gold,silver,purple) to your outfit can upgrade it from regular to festive.

Naughty or Nice

 

 The holidays usually bring so much joy to my life. I hope many people can share the same sentiment. I love the electric translation of laughter, celebrations and, good company. I was just out an about town for no specific reason and after grabbing a cup of coffee, I strolled and enjoyed the partial solitude of my own company. I was in awe of the beautiful decorations that were nicely laid out in preparation and celebration of the Christmas season (I should have taken pictures!-I Know). I felt really casual and chic in this outfit. I have worn this Tulle skirt before Here-Tulle but I decided to keep it casual for this look. I plan on abusing it so beware (I also have it in black).

Floral & Orange

Orange are made for Mondays, does it not just brighten your day? For brunch yesterday I went for a girly-fall-look. The temperature dropped a bit so I added a pair of ankle boots.  My skirt is actually a dress, I just tucked the upper part and added the belt to help hide the puffiness. This is a great way to transition some of your summer pieces right on over to fall:)

We are in full swing layering weather and the other day it was necessary to add a few layers. With the gloomy weather, I still needed to feel bright so I added this pink shirt to do just that. Plus, this stipe top I picked up at TJmaxx after winning a $50 Maxxinista Contest on Instagram in October, served as the perfect mac to my cheese. I was so excited because it is literally one of my favorite all time places to shop:)

Hi Guys, remember last week I showed you these gorgeous jewelry from Ya Ya's Boutique? Well let me tell you (*Sips Tea*) I was so excited when they asked me to try on some of their clothes. I was like, "What?-Yes!-Of course". Which chic diva would say no to dressing up and frolicking around in adorable clothes? definitely not me.
