Day After Thanksgiving

After stuffing my tummy with yummy food on Thanksgiving I decided to take "Black Friday" as a relaxing day for exploring old stomping grounds in Southern California. I went over to Westwood Village and strolled my way around comfortably and cozy. I layered this loose fitting sweater and comfy capri pants with my fave nude pumps (that are oh-so-comfy). I hope everyone was safe while shopping and got great deals:)

Comment below and let me know what great deals you got on "Black Friday". (I bought 3 items from Kate Spade, some stuff from Piperlime and, Old Navy-I did my shopping Wednesday Night because I am not too good with massive crowds or standing in long lines :))

Thanks for reading, as always. Sending positive vibe to all of you.

How often do you find a unique boutique hidden in the most conspicuous spot and you say to yourself, "how come I've never noticed?" Well, this was what happened to me with Ya Ya's Boutique, a Designer Jewelry and Accessories store, located in El Segundo, California. I was instantly amazed by the details and obvious quality of their products. They carry mostly local designers and one international designer. I have selected some of my favorite pieces for you to see, but, to be honest, If I had my way I would claim all of their pieces as favorites.

I hope your preparation, travels and plans for Turkey Day are going well, if it doesn't apply to you, have a great rest of week.

Nuetral Color Palette

Hi Guys,
Well I do hope I caught everyone in good spirits, if not, I ask you to put on the largest smile you can-right now- and hug yourself:)

Today, I wanted to show you a little fun way of mixing your neutrals. I often get asked about color matching or color blocking etc and what is the right way. Honestly, there is not any one right way. It just depends on your style and what you feel comfortable wearing. Be true to yourself and whatever makes you happy.
Now, you can mix neutrals in so many different ways and get away with it, as oppose to bright colors. Take for example the palette  above. On the palette there are 5 different neutral colors (Dusty, Serene, Cozy, Clay and, Peach Puff), these are just fancy names for each color. If you wanted to you could wear each color in one outfit. For example, in the pictures of me above I am wearing 5 different neutral colors represented on each piece of garment, shoes and, accessory. You can get away with it, try it. Try something new.
Again, Tag me on Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest or wherever and let me see and I will repost:)

Houndstooth

Who says you cannot make work clothes fashionable? I believe we should treat our closets like a pack of M&Ms-they all belong in one bag-it's just a matter which one you pick out to eat. Pencil skirts spells class and, being that you have to be careful when wearing heeled thigh-highs, a skirt like this can give you the perfect touch.

Zebra Print

Hello lovelies:) A happy Monday to you all. I hope everyone had a great weekend. Yesterday I went to brunch and decided I wanted to be cozy and colorful. While many of us SoCal residents are awaiting cooler temperatures, we cant help but to push for it a bit more that it is coming for us. It was easy and cool yesterday so I pulled out my beloved Forever21 Zebra print sweater and added pops of color here and there to keep my spirits up. (Pardon me, I just love color-like flowers, it makes me happy). Sending lots of positive vibes everyone's way.

Ripped Jeans

Hey guys, happy mid-week. I hope everyone is having a great week so far. Make each day count. I wanted to grace you today with some ripped jeans and one way of styling them. There are multiple ways of styling ripped jeans and this is one of my favorites. I personally like to style my top a bit conservative if my jeans are as ripped as these Levis are. If it were summer, then I wouldn't mind baring more skin with my top. I added this metallic sweater that I oh-so-love and paired it with this blush blazer to add a little (Pink/Blush Fall trend) to my look.
My blog is a personal style sense and, what may seem comfortable to me, may not be for another and vice-versa. The aim of my blog is help  (myself) and other women to try different ways of styling themselves each day and to take risks. I love to see my family and friends switch things up, instantly I blurt compliments. I also hope that the men who visit my blog will also find inspiration, maybe in gifting their families and loved ones clothes, accessories etc.

Thank you all so much for tuning in.
xoxo

Grey Area

I am one that really loves color in my wardrobe, but to be honest, I mostly choose safe colors on a daily basis. Today was one of those days, safe in Grey :)
One major reason I started this blog was to test my comfort zone in fashion. I must tell you, I have witnessed myself taking more risk than I would usually do. It is a good feeling to push yourself to try new things and, then, sit back and say "that wasn't too bad now, was it?" I personally hope, through one avenue, fashion, I can live more and execute my life according to my wishes.
I also hope that this blog will encourage at least one other person to set their own limits in whatever and live it through.
