Weekend Green & Camo

 

 

Hey guys, just wanted to check in and give you a little green & Camo :) to brighten your day. Super casual days called for a super casual outfits. I was running errands and I wanted to be super comfortable and, that I was. You must be able to tell that I love this Tory Burch tote. Hehe! I get dressed and pack a different bag then switch right on over to this tote. It just holds everything and is super comfy. I plan on abusing it for all it is worth. Hope everyone had a good weekend and well wishes for the rest of the week.

Date Night Mini

Hey guys, well a Happy Friday to you all. Whew, I am so happy it is the weekend:) Initially, when I started this blog I called it Styleweekender because I personally live for the weekends. I also love getting out of work clothes and styling my outfits on the weekends. Additionally, I wanted an avenue to post multiple pictures of my outfits as I did not want to crowd my friend's timelines on Facebook and Instagram.

Last Thursday I took my guy out on a date/birthday dinner and this was what I wore. I love dresses, especially perfectly-fitting-occasion ones. I also love that with dresses I already have a full outfit and I do not need to worry about anything else but my shoes. I chose to wear these orange strappy sandals. Sandals are my favorite dress up shoes and I feel the most confident in them. Weird, shoes making you feel confident huh? welp! that's what it does for me:)

Work Grey

 

 

Happy Wednesday everyone. I hope you are all having a good morning so far. Today I wanted to switch things up a bit and show you a work day look. I don't wear many dresses to work, but this is one of my favorite work dress. I usually wear this dress with stockings as it is at least 2 inches over my knees, but since the temperature is still high, I decided to go without. Nevertheless, a grey well tailored dress is perfect for the office. I am partial about Calvin Klein dresses for work because of their cut, durability and, class. I work in Education, so it is important for me to keep my work wear very professional and business like. My shoes are from target and I find that target offers a very stable price for work style and longevity. I am already 5' 10", so I like to keep my work heels not more than 3inches. I added this scarf and orange handbag to give the grey some life.

 

How do you dress for work? Also, let me know if you would like to see more work related post, because I know in reality most of us go to a standard type of job. Enjoy the rest of your week.

Floral & Stripe

So before you remind me that I pledge to lay off the stripe, let me remind you I didn't wear any stripe all of last month -_-. Yes I love stripes, I cannot quite control that, I am a work in progress so please bare with me. So here goes, today's outfit is another play on prints, another fave of mine-floral & Stripe. Bearing that we are into the Fall season I decided to add stripe to my floral, however, we are still experiencing high temperature here in California. I would have really loved to add my boots, coat and, scarf to my outfit, but I would roast myself and, attract odd stares :) Hope you enjoy!

Loving Leggings

I don't know about you but I love me some good leggings. I mean really sturdy and sexy leggings, the kind you can dress up or down. These leggings offer just that, they are half material, half faux leather. This offers a mix of dressy and casual all in once piece. Uhm hello!!!!! two-for-one. This look is more of casual dress down look. If I wanted to add a more dressed up look, I would probably pair this with a sheer dressy top and or a blazer. I am also a lover of oversized shirts and sweaters. I don't know, I just feel much more comfortable in them as opposed to skin-tight tops. Maybe that is one of the risks on my list of risks I should start to take. Finally, a half-tuck. I live for a half-tuck, it can literally take your outfit from 1-to-10.

Lace on Lace

Hello guys, Happy Monday! Hope your weekend was superb. To wean you off the weekend, I have decided to go Lace on Lace for today's outfit. One thing I know about lace is that it is one of the materials that is considered "sexy". Growing up, lace wasn't the material for church and, having your first lace "anything" showed a measure of maturity. Anyway, I have grown to love lace. It makes me feel very feminine and it is a show stopper. Today, I paired a peplum lace top I found in a boutique downtown Los Angeles and a midi body con lace skirt. I added red lips "of course" and nude pumps for chic simplicity. I feel like I would walk around all day and all night in this outfit.

Fish Tail

 

 

Hello beautiful Styleweekender readers. Today I wanted to style and rock something feminine and chic. This J. Crew skirt does exactly the trick. I love the fish tail property and its beautiful color scheme, really makes me feel girly:) It is very comfortable and allow me the freedom to maneuver my way through the day and into the evening, effortlessly. Now lets talk about these shoes. These are one of my fave pair of sandals, they were gifted to me a few years ago by one of my girlfriend (she has an impeccable shoe taste). They are Anna Dello Russo (for H&M). There are about 5.5 Inches high and are quite comfortable to walk in. I love it when designers and huge fashion Icons (as in this case), partner with our everyday regular stores and give us a little bang for the buck. (Currently you can get Altuzarra at Target with their Atuzarra for Target collection- I totally missed out on their over the knee boots-sold out! boo-hoo!).
